Food and beverages will be available from restaurants and food trucks at all sites. To avoid single-use plastics, drinks will be served in recyclable “Open Days” cups, available with a small deposit. You are of course free to keep these cups as souvenirs!
Download the official app for interactive maps, real-time updates and more.
Travel light and do not bring any bulky items of luggage with you: there are no luggage lockers available for storing your bags. Note that all bags brought to the Open Days will be inspected at each site entrance. In addition, some underground sites have restrictions in terms of what you can bring with you.
Don’t forget to bring a camera, as you are welcome to take pictures at all sites during the Open Days. We only ask that you respect the privacy of the other visitors.
You can navigate between the various sites using shuttles, while mini-trains will transport you within CERN’s main sites in Meyrin and Prévessin. Maps showing the mobility options will be available on site.
Information concerning health and safety during the Open Days is available on this page.
Getting around
Once you reach your arrival site, you can navigate between the various sites using Open Days buses, while mini-trains will transport you within CERN’s main sites in Meyrin and Prévessin.
Open Days buses
Eight bus lines (A–H) run between the various sites, some of which also stop at Palexpo, Zimeysa, Bricomarché and/or Gex.
