Are you faster than the LHC fast protection system? To protect the LHC in the event of a problem, the huge energy stored in the LHC particle beams must be discharged in less than a thousandth of a second. Test your reaction time and try to beat the LHC fast protection systems.

Join the CERN Fitness club and others on the Sustainable Dance Floor, which uses human movement as a source of energy. This kinetic energy is converted into electricity that powers the floor's LED lights. Through this process, the floor interacts with the dancers to involve them in an interactive energy experience.

Children and adults can head here to discover how stars are born, to find out how heavy they would be on different planets, to see the magnetic field around a magnet, and much more.
